Jute is called golden fiber of Bangladesh as it had very good positive impact on economy. By using jute fiber we can make bags, carpet, mat etc that are biodegradable and environment friendly. There is a good environment to produce jute plant here. Generally it takes 2 months to produce jute plant. Then the raw fiber is submerged under water to make it fermented. Then they separate the fiber from the plant and dry it under sun. The fiber looks like golden thus it is called golden fiber.
