An Approach to Track Multiple Domains Separately with Google Analytics #Root

You can create one account

Under that you can create one property for each domain

For each property, copy the Analytics Tracking Code (from Google), and place the code on the webpages under that domain.

if you use cpanel to manage your web-hosting, you will see an option Google Analytics Integration under cpanel. You can use that option as well. To configure, you will need to supply the tracking code to this tool and this tool will create a file with your tracking code. This file will be linked to from each of the web-pages usually just before </head> tag.

Sometimes, this tool might create an older version of Analytics Tracking code (ga.gs), in that case just open the file with analytics code, and provide the new code. Yes, I had to deal with such cases. From: http://sitestree.com/?p=2390
