135 years ago, January 1902, an Australian batsman Reggie Duff made 100 runs against England in his first test match by batting at 10th position. And it again happens in November 2012 in Bangladesh. A Bangladeshi cricketer named Abul Hasan makes the same thing against West Indies at 10th position of batting.
Abul Hasan was well known as a bowler and he is not a recommended batsman. It was his first international test match. When he came to bat it was 193 runs for 8 wickets. And naturally both captain and coach did not expect much from him. But he with his partner Mahmuddullah played so well and made the dream happen and at the end of the day the score was smiling with 365/8. He finished his innings with 113 runs and it is the highest run scored by a batsman at 10th position in last 135 years.
For this reason cricket is called game of uncertainty.
