Accurately describe the content of the page.<\/li>\n<li>Make your urls meaningful to your visitors. Use words in URLs<\/li>\n<li>Use an organized and meaningful directory structure for your site. Users should be able to guess where they are at your site [can be security risk though]<\/li>\n<li>Provide only one path to a webpage. A page should not be able to be reached by domains, subdomains, and multiple domains. Use .htaccess [301 redirect]<\/li>\n<li>Provide easier navigation to your site for example allow removal of part of the url and still make the url work<\/li>\n<li>Use text primarily for navigation [anchor tag]. Always, use alt for images and image based navigation<\/li>\n<li>Put both XML and HTML sitemap on your site.<\/li>\n<li>Have meaningful 404 error pages<\/li>\n<li>Always offer useful information and services<\/li>\n<li>Update your content regularly. Provide unique contents, unique services<\/li>\n<li>Provide contents for users, not for search engines<\/li>\n<li>Use descriptive and meaningful anchor texts<\/li>\n<li>Use descriptive names for images<\/li>\n<li>Prove an image sitemap for your site as well<\/li>\n<li>Use heading tags. Also, use them to define the content structure and content hierarchy in the webpage<\/li>\n<li>Use robots.txt file to provide\/revoke access to certain parts of your sites.
