Used the following commands on my Mac : Works<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

rm -rf \/Applications\/Vagrant<\/p>\n

rm -f \/usr\/local\/bin\/vagrant\r\nsudo pkgutil --forget com.vagrant.vagrant\r\n\r\nAlso, executed the following - sure on my same Mac<\/strong>\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
rm -rf \/opt\/vagrant\r\nrm -f \/usr\/bin\/vagrant\r\n\r\nAlso, did a search for vagrant.d and vagrant in the system and removed as appropriate<\/strong>\r\n\r\n~\/.vagrant.d\r\n\r\nSure before doing any of the above used vagrant destroy<\/strong>\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\n\r\nSome find and remove command examples:\r\n\r\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
find . -name \"FILE-TO-FIND\" -exec rm -rf {} ;<\/kbd><\/p>\n
OR<\/p>\n
find . -type f -name \"FILE-TO-FIND\" -exec rm -f {} ;<\/kbd><\/p>\n
 <\/p>\n
$ find . -type f -name “*.bak” -exec rm -f {} ;<\/p>\n
 <\/p>\n
# find \/ -name core -exec rm -f {} ;<\/p>\n
$ find . -type f -name “*.bak” -exec rm -i {} ;<\/p>\n
