Vector, PCA, Basis, Covariance<\/p>\n<p><strong>Orthonormality: Orthonormal Vectors<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In linear algebra, two <strong>vectors<\/strong> in an inner product space are <strong>orthonormal<\/strong> if they are orthogonal and unit <strong>vectors<\/strong>. A set of <strong>vectors<\/strong> form an <strong>orthonormal<\/strong> set if all <strong>vectors<\/strong> in the set are mutually orthogonal and all of unit length. An <strong>orthonormal<\/strong> set which forms a basis is called an <strong>orthonormal<\/strong> basis.&#8221;<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Orthonormality\">https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Orthonormality<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Basis for a Vector Space<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8220;A <strong>vector space&#8217;s basis<\/strong> is a subset of <strong>vectors<\/strong> within the <strong>space<\/strong> that are linearly independent and span the <strong>space<\/strong>. A <strong>basis<\/strong> is linearly independent because the <strong>vectors<\/strong> in it cannot be defined as a linear combination of any of the other <strong>vectors<\/strong> in the <strong>basis<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/study.com\/academy\/lesson\/finding-the-basis-of-a-vector-space.html\">https:\/\/study.com\/academy\/lesson\/finding-the-basis-of-a-vector-space.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vector Space<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8220;In linear algebra, you might find yourself working with a set of vectors.
